WeMeet was designed to reimagine the traditional online interview and collaboration experience by bringing essential tools—video calling, live chat, whiteboarding, and coding—all into one unified workspace. My goal was to create an interface that feels modern, distraction-free, and optimized for real-time interaction between candidates and interviewers. The layout balances functionality and clarity: the coding environment and whiteboard take center stage to keep focus on problem-solving, while the video feed and chat panel are positioned to support seamless communication without overwhelming the screen. I intentionally used a dark theme for the work surface to reduce visual fatigue during long sessions, complemented by vibrant highlights that guide attention to key actions like toggling audio/video or ending a meeting.

One key UX challenge was designing an environment where both interviewer and candidate could switch context quickly—from writing code to sketching diagrams to chatting—without losing their flow. To solve this, I created a persistent, easily discoverable toolbar and structured the workspace into intuitive modules such as Whiteboard, Compiler, and Private Rooms. Each module is designed to be self-contained yet interconnected, giving users flexibility while maintaining clarity. The website design further reinforces WeMeet’s value by clearly communicating its benefits—faster scheduling, built-in collaboration tools, and a user-friendly interface. Overall, WeMeet delivers a streamlined, human-centered experience that reduces interview friction, encourages smooth interaction, and supports technical conversations in a more natural and productive way.
